Preparation For Your Spray TanExfoliate your skin thoroughly the day before your spray tan application for smooth skin and even tanning results. Spend a little extra time on knees, elbows, feet and hands. Exfoliate at least once a week to maintain, smooth healthy-looking skin. Shave at least 8 hours before your spray tan session. Wax at least 24 hours before your spray tan session. Remove contact lenses and all jewellery. Do NOT moisturise skin on the day of your spray tan application, as lotions can create a barrier, preventing the absorption of tanning solution. Remove makeup, moisturiser, perfume and deodorant prior to your spray tan for best results. Wear dark loose fitting clothes and dark underwear. Spray tan solution washes out of most clothing, but the cosmetic bronzer could wipe off on lighter coloured clothes, giving temporary discolouration. Be careful after your tanning appointment of wearing long boots as these can make your tan patchy on your legs. |
